Hanover Psychiatry, a faculty practice of the Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth, offers research based and highly effective psychological and psychiatric treatment and evaluation.
Located on Main Street in Hanover, Hanover Psychiatry is a short walk for college students and employees and a short drive from Dartmouth-Hitchcock and surrounding towns. We work with children, adults and families from throughout Northern New England and beyond, with telepsychiatry capabilities allowing us to connect with those who are not able to attend in person.
We specialize in providing evidence based behavioral health treatments for children, adolescents, adults and families, to optimize functioning across all life domains. Our faculty are experts in many treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), Biofeedback, Mindfulness Based Approaches, Family-Based Treatment (Maudsley Approach), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Relapse Prevention, Parenting Skills Building, and psychopharmacology. We also offer a full range of psychological, neuropsychological and diagnostic evaluations.
